APT Envelope Printer
README.DOC
The APT Envelope Printer is a shareware program that provides you
the capability of printing professional looking envelopes and labels
on your HP compatible laser or Epson compatible dot matrix printer
that include U.S. Postal Service approved POSTNET bar codes to
insure speedy and accurate delivery. You can use the program to
print envelopes or labels one at a time as you need them or to print
many envelopes or labels in succession when performing a bulk mail-
ing for your business or organization. The program's bulk mailing
capability provides zip code statistics to make bundling of enve-
lopes fast and easy. The program supports 3 types of labels (1 dot
matrix and two laser) for bulk mailing of folders, etc.
Installation instructions for this program may be found in the
User's Guide (ENVELOPE.DOC) on the distribution disk.
The files in this package may be freely copied and distributed as
long as all files (including this README.DOC file) are distributed
together. Note, however, that this program is "Shareware" NOT
"Freeware" and has been copyrighted. If you find this program useful
and continue using it, you must register it by completing the
REGISTER.DOC form and sending it to APT Computer Solutions, Inc. at
the address on the form. More information about registration is
included in the REGISTER.DOC file.
This package should contain the following files:
README.DOC - This file.
ENVELOPE.DOC - An ASCII text version of the User's Guide for the
program.
REGISTER.DOC - A form to complete and return when registering the
APT Envelope Printer.
ENVELOPE.EXE - The APT Envelope program executable.
ENVELOPE.INI - A file used by the envelope program to store some
program related information.
SAMPLE.PTR
SAMPLE.DAT - A sample address file showing some examples of typi-
cal names and addresses. You may use the program to
create your own files. If address files are moved,
the two files comprising the database must always
moved together.
